Kochadaiiyaan movie is based on the historical character by the same name, who was an emperor of the 8th century. The name literally means a king who has long and curly hair. It is an animated 3D motion capture film. South Indian film’s most loved actors, Rajinikanth, will be featured in the film, voicing and acting out 3 of the lead roles. The other important and supporting characters will be voiced and enacted by famous actors like Deepika Padukone, Aadhi, R.Sarathkumar, Shobana, Nassar, Jackie Shroff and Rukmini Vijaykumar. The movie cinematography has been managed by Rajiv Menon. The post- production work of the film has been completed in China, Hong Kong, USA and UK.
