Shaun, a mischievous evil sheep living with his run at Overgrown Base Homestead, is exhausted from the routine of life on the ranch. He prepares an arrangement to have a day away from work by deceiving the agriculturist into returning to rest by checking his sheep more than once. In any case, the convoy in which they put the agriculturist to bed coincidentally rolls away, taking him the distance into the city. Bitzer, the agriculturist's canine, pursues him. When Shaun decides to take the day off and have some fun, he gets a little more action than he bargained for. A mix up with the Farmer, a caravan and a very steep hill lead them all to the Big City and it's up to Shaun and the flock to return everyone safely to the green grass of home.It earned five nominations at the Annie Awards including Best Animated Feature.A sequel is scheduled for release in April 2019.
