CG Student Awards calls the entries for the 2014 Autodesk CG Student Awards, the last date of the submission is on May 15, 2014. It is owned and produced by the Tasman Theory Pty Ltd and sponsored by software giant Autodesk. The CG Student Awards are an incredible chance for scholars and alumni to not only showcase their work to industry professionals, but it is the best possible way to launch their career in these competitive industries.If any scholar wants to participate in this event first they have to do is upload their demo reel, shot breakdown and best artwork and show it off to the judging panel for review. The results will be declared on June3, 2014.
This year (2014)Awards offers over $230,000 (U.S.) in prizes and 15 studio internships accessible to victors. The scholars can submit work to six categories like School of the Year, VFX/Animation, Next-Gen Gaming, Young Guns, People’s Choice and Boot camp Placements, which offer winners the opportunity to intern at leading studios such as The Mill, Method Studios, Double Negative, Crytek, Weta Digital, Frame store, Epic Games, Game loft, MPC, Prime Focus and Ninja Theory.
The Applicants can download the latest versions of Autodesk Media & Entertainment portfolio from www.cgstudentawards.com for free to create their entries. All computer graphics scholars (January 2013 to May 2014) are welcome to submit their demo reel and best work to the Awards.
